Due to increased race winter work we have a fantastic opportunity for 3 qualified Motorcycle Technicians to join a fantastic Motorcycle & Race dealership in the North Shields area.
We need an experienced Motorcycle mechanic /Technician to join our busy workshop. A successful candidate would join a friendly team of Technicians and be required to service & repair mopeds and bigger motorcycles also carry out work on Race Bikes to prescribed standards.
Main duties
• To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on bikes
• Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required (PDI checks, changes of tyres, oil, brake pads, clutch ETC).
• Completion of appropriate documentation
• Advise workshop manager of any additional work/faults found
• Test ride bikes after they have been worked on
. Provide great customer service
• Keep personal working area clean and free from potential hazards
• Ensure work space and tools/equipment are kept maintained to an acceptable standard
• To comply with all Health & Safety standards
Requirements:
• Previous experience in motorcycle / mopeds workshop
•
Knowledge of diagnostic
systems * knowledge of basic engine and electrics repairs
